Choosing Between Football Party Accessories
Football is what keeps many families together. That’s why it’s important to make each Sunday count, especially that big one in February where it all comes to a head. A successful Super Bowl soirée depends on how many football party accessories you have placed around your house. Well, that and food and beer. Your budget may be limited, so start comparing prices online now.
Buying products directly from a NFL team is expensive, but many third-party retailers are filling the gap with their own spin on fun accessories. If you plan on serving food, you can buy plates, napkins and cups that are branded with your favorite team’s colors or whoever happens to be playing the Super Bowl. You can even get streamers to hang up around the den.
You’re obviously going to need to stock up on plenty of alcohol to keep overzealous fans pacified as their favored team gets a first-quarter drubbing. Beer is a safe staple, but also buy some bottles of hard liquor and wine in case anyone has a difference preference for getting sauced. Soda will suffice for younger people, and if not, you can show them to the water tap.
Chips, dips, and salsa are easy finger foods to buy from the store, and anything more substantial can be easily made. Remember that ordering a pizza on the night of the Super Bowl will mean hours for delivery, so stock up on some frozen pies in case anyone starts to get hungry. Be sure pick up groceries ahead of time since the supermarket will be swamped with panicked late-comers on Sunday.
